I LOVE creating a tablescape! It was by far my favorite part of playing hostess for my Friendsgiving dinner. I wanted to keep it clean, neutral but have soft undertones. I also wanted to distract from the fact that it was set up on a folding table in the middle of our living room (850 square foot apartment problems haha).  I think that the runner added great texture and interest. I also think it paired well with the linen tablecloth. I loved getting to use my marble napkins and gold flatware from our registry! I served everyone's mac and cheese with cornbread topping and sage in these cute stoneware bowls. The guys got the big pumpkins and the girls got the Le Crueset ones..kind of sexist but let's be real the men ate a lot more! I bought a big bundle of fresh eucalyptus from my local florist and just laid it flat down the table. I set up my Tablescape a day before the dinner and it was totally fine to leave them out of water. They will probably last for like a week instead of two but it was worth it to not have to set up the table on the day that I was doing so much cooking! All of these items are linked below.
