If money wasn't standing in my way, I would redo every room in my apartment (you know all 2 of them + 2 bathrooms and kitchen haha) once a year without a dot of stress. It would bring me SO much joy. I LOVE the creative process of decorating so much! I find it to be such an outlet for me and I enjoy creating a home that feels like us so much. It would be so fun to get to revamp a space and get to experiment with different styles a little more each year. Let's be real though, I would probably keep it ivory, whites and grays at all times though haha. I'm all about using more textures than colors because I like for things to look clean but I think that textures add warmth to spaces. I promise to add a little bit of color to my kids rooms one day. Since I can't actually afford to redo my apartment, I thought I'd create a little vision board with what I am feeling at this current moment for my bedroom. Here is my latest boho bedroom dream. You can shop these items by clicking on an image above in the collage. I also linked them, along with some similar items, below.
My husband is the Christian one in the relationship but he isn't religious so we don't go to church or anything like that for Easter. Still, we like to use it as an opportunity to get together with family so we go to his mom's house every year and celebrate! I also like every opportunity to get festive so I always make festive treats and will decorate a little bit. If you also like to get festive, I linked some cute decor and serving pieces below!

I grew up with a mom who loved to make holidays and birthdays feel really special. SHE is just really special like that! I love having little festive touches in my home for the holidays. I also like to make cute treats and themed food for holidays (as you probably know haha). Everything tastes better off of a cute plate, right?! I linked my favorite Valentine's home decor below. I also included some party supplies that you can use even if you're not having a party (like me haha). If you're not into baking but want to have something fun and festive, I also linked some treats that you can buy online. The rose cakes are SO good! They arrive frozen and defrost so so well (this is coming from someone who is so picky about freshness). They're so pretty and extremely well priced compared to rose cakes that I've gotten from local bakeries. Let's feel the love! Does anyone else think that gift wrap is part of the gift?! I LOVE and appreciate pretty gift wrap. At this time of year, beautiful gift wrap is especially important because our gifts serve as pieces of decor. Whether they're sitting under your Christmas tree or next to your menorah, they can contribute to the overall festive feel! Each year, I love curating different combinations of wrapping paper that look cohesive and intentionally styled. I like to have a "men's theme" "women's theme" and "kids theme" for my Christmas wrap and then I usually stick to one wrap for all of the Chanukah presents that I give out to my family.
For the past 4 years I have purchased my gift wrap from The Container Store. I love the quality of their products and their fun yet timeless designs! They just opened up a Container Store in Livingston, NJ so I took a little field trip there for a gift wrap demonstration. If you followed along on my Instagram stories, then you know that they turn gift wrapping into an actual art form at that store! They are holding gift wrap demonstrations for the public at every location every Saturday and Sunday through December 23rd at 1pm and 3pm so you can go see one too (note that the Paramus location is not open on Sunday). They also have an online tutorial that you can find here.
I hope that you enjoy my different curated gift wrap "themes" this year! I linked all of the items in each collection below the pictures. All of the products are also linked under 'Shop The Post' at the bottom of the post. Happy wrapping!
You guys, its almost Chanukah!! I am Jewish and I married a Christian and the result of that is double the holidays. I think that its fun that we get to celebrate both holidays. I'm sure that our kids won't hate the extra festivities or presents either haha. I'm going to touch more on what its like blending two religions under one roof in a post in the future but during this time of year I love it. I love getting to spend more time with family and implement more traditions into our own home. I'm not one for very traditional decor in general and that holds true with Christmas and Chanukah decorations. I found a bunch of items that I actually love and rounded them up in this post. Just click on an image below to shop it. Happy almost Chanukah, friends!
Is anyone else getting sick of the same old Christmas music already?! I'm not big on the old school classical Christmas music (sue me). I am into a more modern twist that's definitely heavy on pop. Be warned that if you don't like Bieber you might want to stay away (but who doesn't like Bieber?!). I also didn't include any "Baby It's Cold Outside" because it just seems so rapey...am I right?! Anyways, this playlist that I made is my JAM. It will be playing on repeat in the #CozyCuratorHome until the New Year on our new speaker (linked below) that we are obsessed with!

Are you going to a holiday party? Whose hosting your Christmas or NYE?! I don't think that anyone ever turns down a bottle of wine or champagne but if you're looking to mix it up this year, these hostess gifts are WINNERS! Click on an image in the collage above or on an image below to shop it.
I don't even ever stuff the stockings in our home but I LOVE having them! Maybe this year I will stuff Jay's/both of ours haha. I love how cuddly and cozy these stockings are! I could sleep with them and cuddle them but instead I choose to be normal and hang them up. We don't have a fireplace mantel in our apartment so I hang them from a shelf on our TV unit and it works perfectly. I LOVE all of these stockings! I'd like to buy a couple of these Anthropologie ones to add to ours but I don't want to give any false hope to my mom that I'm having a baby or anything haha. Click on any image below to shop!

I always think that spending money on your home is worth it compared to spending money other ways because it's where you spend time every single day! I have a bit of an addiction for holiday decor and could buy that stuff non stop haha. It's so awesome that I don't have to worry about spending too much money on home items or holiday decor with all of these amazing sales!

I LOVE creating a tablescape! It was by far my favorite part of playing hostess for my Friendsgiving dinner. I wanted to keep it clean, neutral but have soft undertones. I also wanted to distract from the fact that it was set up on a folding table in the middle of our living room (850 square foot apartment problems haha). I think that the runner added great texture and interest. I also think it paired well with the linen tablecloth. I loved getting to use my marble napkins and gold flatware from our registry! I served everyone's mac and cheese with cornbread topping and sage in these cute stoneware bowls. The guys got the big pumpkins and the girls got the Le Crueset ones..kind of sexist but let's be real the men ate a lot more! I bought a big bundle of fresh eucalyptus from my local florist and just laid it flat down the table. I set up my Tablescape a day before the dinner and it was totally fine to leave them out of water. They will probably last for like a week instead of two but it was worth it to not have to set up the table on the day that I was doing so much cooking! All of these items are linked below. I like to do a little Halloween decor coffee tablescape each year. This year I had Jay carve the pumpkins haha. Other years I've put fresh flowers into large pumpkins but I didn't want to spend money on flowers just for them to die within a week. I wanted a setup that could last a little longer so I bought a couple of cacti. Who doesn't love a good cactus? Obviously this setup would be the worst idea if you had little kids since the coffee table is within reach! We know all of the cactus rules so it worked out fine haha. This skull "vase" is actually an old vodka bottle that Jay and I drank from during our first frat formal together. It was one of the last times that I ever drank too (I don't produce an enzyme to digest alcohol through my liver so drinking became increasingly dangerous). I love that he kept it and I love that we now incorporate it into our decor each fall! I linked a similar one below in case you like the idea! Happy Halloween, friends!

I'd say that candles are 100 percent necessary for creating a cozy home. I am a candle addict and if I'm being totally honest, kind of a candle snob. I discovered how much better quality candles are. They smell so much better and reach such a wider area with their scent. I LOVE an ultra cozy scent for this time of year. It also always has to be packaged nicely in order to contribute to the decor. Obviously that usually includes being mega neutral! Here are my tried and true, all time favorite candles for this time of year. Just promise that once they change your home for the better, you will tell me how much you love them!
